Course Description :
This module introduces students to competence in dealing and communicating with different civilizations and cultures, whether in tourism activities or hospitality interaction. The focus is on the importance of cultural values, norms, languages, traditions, heritage, and habits of different peoples in general and individuals in particular. The student is introduced to the most important results of scientific research in this area and its application to achieve a successful cultural interaction. The student is also introduced to the basics of cultural dealings so as to highlight the identity of the historical and cultural resources in Jordan and the nature of cultural symbols in everyday life, such as clothes, furniture, food, habits, and other features.
